「土佐幽考」は「鴨部郷の西にあり」とし、「地名辞書」は「今朝倉村、宇治村是なり、鴨部郷の西に接し、山嶺をもって吾川郡と相限る」とする。「日本地理志料」は「朝倉、枝川、池ノ内の諸邑をその郷域とす」と記す。現在の高知市朝倉地区である。（p90）
