現在の善通寺市生野町・大麻町および善通寺町のうちの伏見・有岡の地域である。大麻山や我排師山の山腹や山麓には王墓山古墳や宮が尾絵画古墳など多くの古墳があり、古代この地域に有力な豪族が勢力を広げていたことを示している。(p93)
