「芸藩通志」は、江田・瀬戸・倉橋・蒲刈の諸島にあて、「地理志料」は、似島・江田島・瀬戸島・倉橋島・能美島などにあてる。「地名辞書」や「県史」もほぼ同じで、安芸区矢野町から呉市に及ぶ海岸とその沖にある江田島町・音戸町などを含む広大な地域に比定される。（p84）
