現在比定地については、「続風土記」は現在の打田町および粉河町の西部としているが、「地名辞書」によれば、打田町より岩出町にかかる一帯という。また「那賀町史」は、郡内の穀倉地帯で、国分寺も置かれていた現在の打田町を中心とする地域と推定している。（p733）
