阿波郡市場町香美を中心とする一帯に比定する点で「地名辞書」「地理志料」ともに一致するが前者は同町大俣および北部に当たる日開谷・犬墓も含めて比定地とするのに対し、後者は同町尾開・興崎・市場および阿波町の勝命にかけての一帯に比定している。（p216）
