「五畿内志」が当郷を近世の高井田村にあてていることから、現在の高井田も郷域に含まれていたと考えられるが、「柏原市史」は郷心を現在の柏原市の太平寺としており、同市の安堂・太平寺付近の一帯に比定されている。（p825）
