現在富岡市の東部の曽木に曽木神社が鎮座しており、宗伎郷ならびに宗伎神社はこの地に比定される（日本地理志料）。なお「地名辞書」は「宗伎は宇伎の誤にて有只と重複す」とするが詳細は不明。（p563）
